Top Jockeys

York Ebor Festival Top Jockey Odds 2016

The Top Jockey Betting market at York for the Ebor Meeting is always hotly contested with all the top Jockeys heading north with a great book of rides, one man who looks likeĀ  missing out though is Ryan Moore who ha picked up a wrist injury. That will leave the door open to the likes of Richard Hughes and Paul Hanagan who have both been having great years and are in good shape in the Jockeys Championship.

In 2009 it was Jimmy Fortune who claimed the top jockey spot at the York Ebor meeting riding four winners at a profit of 19.00. Neil Callan is another great jockey with a terrific record at York and he too showed a good profit of 13.50 for punters with his 7 winners in 2009. Any one of these three would be a good bet to finish as York Ebor Top Jockey for the 2010 meeting. It is no surprise to see Johnny Murtagh at the top of the betting to be the Top Jockey this week, he has a great book of rides for Ballydoyle with the likes of Rip Van Winkle and Starspangledbanner to look forward on the Knavesmire.
