Sky Bet Strensall Stakes 2011
The Strensall Stakes looks to be shaping up to be a fine renewal as it takes its place on the card for the third day of the York Ebor Festival, the big race of the day is of course the Nunthorpe Stakes but this is a fine warm-up with a number of good runners set to take their chances. The race itself is for horses aged three years and above over the 1 mile 1f trip so we are sure to see an exciting race up on the Knavesmire.
Sir Michael Stoute has booked Richard Hughes to ride Dux Scholar in the Strensall Stakes and he looks to have every chance of going close according to the bookmakers. The horse won last time out at Newbury and there are plenty of good vibes coming from the yard about this horse so he is one to keep an eye on.
