Lowther Stakes Betting 2011

This Group Two is the top race for two year old fillies at the York Ebor meeeting and it is raced over a distance of six furlongs. it is named after Hugh Lowther who was the fifth Earl of Lonsdale. The race is very much a trial for the 1000 Guineas but before then several of these entries will go for the Cheveley Park Stakes where they will race for the first time as three year olds.
