York Ebor Festival 2011 - Day Three
The highlight of Day Three at the Ebor Festival is of course the Nunthorpe Stakes won in 2010 by Sole Power who seriously upset the odds by claiming the win at a price of 100/1 with the well fancied Starspangledbanner back in second. The day starts off with the Skybet Handicap at 2.00pm, there are six races in all, each with a York Ebor FREE BET Facility available throughout the day.
It is also Ladies Day where the fashion guru's descend on the Knavesmire to pick and choose the best dressed woman and the best hat. There is live music, fashion parades and plenty of alternative entertainment for what is the busiest day at the meeting. The Nunthorpe this season is looking particularly exciting with a number of top class sprinters set to take their chance, one that has been added to the field is Hoof it who won so well recently at Glorious Goodwood.
