York Ebor Festival 2011 - Day Four
The highlight of Day Four at the 2011 Ebor Meeting is the prestigious Ebor Handicap which is of course the richest handicap in Europe and always attracts a top class field of runners. The day however starts off with the City Of York Stakes over seven furlongs at 2.00: There are six races in all. York Ebor FREE BETS are available on every race on the card.
The card is looking slightly different this year with the Ebor Handicap moved to Saturday for the first time, it is hoped that the big race will attract a bumper crowd to the course with viewing figures also playing a part in the decision to move the race. As well as the Ebor, the Lonsdale Cup is always a race to follow for the staying horses who we have followed throughout the season.
